Terrell Owens, former wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, recently gave his opinion on reports that NFL referees and officials were favoring the Kansas City Chiefs. In a video shared on Instagram, Owens went on to remark that he definitely felt that the games were rigged, with officials making many calls for other teams, but ignoring the same for the Chiefs.
The majority of the rumors started circulating after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game, scoring their ticket to the Super Bowl. Against the Bills, the Chiefs won 32-29, with quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing for 245 yards, completing 18 passes out of 26 attempts, scoring a single touchdown.
“I’ve never thought I would say that games were rigged. It is unreal at the amount of calls that are not called against the Kansas City Chiefs that are called against everybody else. Mahomes is smart. He is digging around. He is calling the flag. He didn’t even get hit, 15-yard flag. Those calls right there advances them, and give them extra downs.” Terrell Owens said in the video shared by @ours49ers on Instagram.

The wide receiver retired from the game in 2022, but is still active in dropping opinions about the game now and then.
