It has been a season to forget for the Tennessee Titans. However, during their Week 17 game against the Houston Texans, they received even more unfortunate news on rookie QB Will Levis. Find out what happened below.
Will Levis Out With a Foot Injury
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis suffered a foot injury during the Week 17 game against the Houston Texans. As a result, Levis left the game and veteran QB Ryan Tannehill took over for the Titans.
The Texans ended up defeating the Titans by a whopping 26-3. Levis was not exactly notable in this game. He was just 2-6 and had 16 passing yards. Tannehill was 16-20 and had 168 passing yards.
Tennessee Titans Moving Forward
The Tennessee Titans have already been eliminated from playoff contention. Now, they just have to hope Levis will be ok in the long term. Tennessee is now focused on 2024 and beyond.
Levis was already dealing with injury woes entering Week 17. However, he overcame those woes and ended up starting this game. Unfortunately, his time on the field in Week 17 did not last long.
