Loyalty is one of the biggest principles that is instilled in football players from a young age and when a team mate is attacked, teammates should rally to their defense. Derrick Henry demonstrated that he was no exception when he defended his own in the Titans Week 12 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
Titans backup running back Tyjae Spears was the recipient of a dirty hit by the Panthers secondary when he fumbled the football. The Panthers defensive backs celebrated shortly until the flag was thrown for unnecessary roughness.
Derrick Henry is shown in videos below needing to be restrained by teammate Daniel Brunskill from taking on the Panthers secondary after the hit which will most likely be reviewed by the NFL disciplinary board following the game related to potential fines.

The Titans held a lead of 14-3 at the time of the hit and were favorites going into the game against the Carolina Panthers. Henry current has 11 carries for 39 yards with a less than stellar average of 3.1 yards per carry indicating that part of the outburst might be related to frustration. New starting quarterback Will Levis will be relied upon to keep the offense afloat against the Carolina Panthers.
