Antonio Brown Runs Off on Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Two years ago today, Brown practically broke the internet. That is because he had perhaps the most infamous exit in NFL history. It was a road game near the end of the 2021-22 regular season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveled to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets.
In the middle of the game, all hell broke loose. Brown took off his jersey and ran shirtless towards the locker room. Little did we know at the time, it would be his last appearance in an NFL jersey on a football field. He has not played a snap in the NFL since this incident.
Antonio Brown Sounds Off on 2nd Anniversary
As usual, Brown made his opinion known about how he felt about the subject. He is known for some of the hottest takes on social media. Today was no different. Here is one of the things he said about the event and his former teammate Tom Brady:
“Ask anyone is Tom Brady selfish bro want stats too you think he like Payton manning or you think he didn’t play longer then drew Brees to past his stats ok ima let the crackers thinks it’s me when I’m coming off the bench to help his team win.”
One fan tweeted to Brown that Brady tried to save his career multiple times. This is referring to the fact that the two of them won a Super Bowl together in the 2020-21 season. Plus, Brady supposedly opened up his home to Brown when he first signed with the Buccaneers. Here was Brown’s response to that claim today:
“How you gone save a guy career who dominated the game his whole career! aB took hisself out the game I ain’t buying that s*** u selling! U sound like a cracker trying to make it seem like you did so much for me whole time you using me for your purpose once fulfilled just like a cracker say your Done.”
But wait, there is more. Brown also posted a tweet with an AI image of him raising a trophy that was filled with crackers. He captioned this image saying, “Toast to the crackers.”
Finally, Brown captioned a video of his infamous NFL departure by simple saying, “F*** dem crackers gone.” It is safe to say that Brown has not slowed down on social media.
