A New York Jets player is facing a drug charge following an arrest made in Alabama on Sunday morning. Jets fans were not happy with the charge when the report became public.
A New York Jets CB was arrested on Sunday morning

As previously discussed on GH, Rich Cimini reported a Jets cornerback was arrested after allegedly possessing marijuana:
Jets CB Tae Hayes, 26, was arrested early Sunday in Alabama and charged with marijuana possession, a second-degree misdemeanor, per Trinity PD records. An official at the Morgan County jail confirmed the arrest but declined to give further information.
He was booked at 3:46 am and released at 5:07 am on $300 bond. A Jets spokesman said the team is aware of the situation and will refrain from further comment, as it is a pending legal matter. Hayes played in one game for the #Jets last season. He has played in 14 games for several teams.
NFL fans react to the arrest

Many fans weren’t happy with the arrest. Hayes was arrested for being in possession of a substance that many citizens feel should be legal. Several states have legalized marijuana in recent years.
Hayes isn’t the only NFL player to be arrested for alleged marijuana possession. Two Kansas City Chiefs offensive linemen were arrested in May for misdemeanor marijuana possession.
Here are the best takes of fans reacting to Hayes’ arrest.

Pro athletes who like the ganja should be selective about what states they travel or live in. Like if the the state elects people like Tubberville to the Senate, probably a good idea to keep on keepin on..
