The Syracuse Orange and head coach Fran Brown turned the football program around last season with a 10-3 record. They didn’t make the ACC title game, but the Orange are looking to build off that success for the 2025 college football season.
Kyle McCord was a star quarterback for the Orange last season after transferring from the Ohio State Buckeyes. It will be interesting to see who will be under center for Syracuse in the fall. They are looking to be a serious contender for the college football playoffs in 2025.
Syracuse Orange Schedule Released For the 2025 College Football Season
Syracuse will not have an easy schedule for the 2025 season. They will begin the season on August 30 against the Tennessee Volunteers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Tennessee will probably be a Top-10-ranked team in the country next season.
They will begin ACC Conference play on September 20 against the Clemson Tigers. One of the most interesting games on the schedule for the Syracuse Orange next season will be against the North Carolina Tar Heels at home on Friday, October 31, which is the same night as Halloween.
This will be Bill Belichick’s first season in college football with North Carolina. They will be on the road against the Miami Hurricanes on November 8 and also on the road against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on November 22. Syracuse will end the regular season on November 29 against the Boston College Eagles at home.

The Syracuse Orange could very well take a step back in the 2025 college football season. It could be a long year for Syracuse with the difficult opponents they have on the schedule.
