The Syracuse Orange finished the regular season with a 9-3 record in college football. Syracuse showed a lot of improvements this season under head coach Fran Brown. The Orange were also very good this season because of quarterback Kyle McCord.

McCord had a very good season for Syracuse after he transferred from the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State made a mistake letting him go for quarterback Will Howard. Another team that had a surprise season in college football was the Washington State Cougars of the Pac-12 Conference, who finished the regular season with an 8-4 record.

Syracuse will be playing Washington State in the Directv Holiday Bowl in San Diego, California. This game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. At one point this season, the Cougars were ranked in the Top 25. As for the Orange, they are currently ranked in the Top 25.

There is a chance that this game could be a high-scoring affair. Syracuse wants to win this game so they can get their 10th win of the college football season.

    LETS GO CUSE

    — Brock Morris (@brock_morris02) December 9, 2024

A lot of Syracuse Orange fans are excited about the direction the program is heading in. A win would mark the first time since 2001 they won 10 games. They also went 10-3 that season.
