Shedeur Sanders may have a rival in his rookie season in Jaxson Dart, according to Dan Orlovsky. On Friday, Orlovsky appeared in ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ and discussed the upcoming NFL draft and who he thinks would make which spot in the list. According to Orlovsky, Cam Ward will be no. 1 for quarterback, but Jaxson Dart and Shedeur Sanders will be almost similar in the rankings.
Jaxson Dart played college football last for the Ole Miss Rebels for two seasons, after playing one season with the USC Trojans. In his senior year with Ole Miss, the quarterback threw for 4,279 passing yards in total, scoring 29 touchdowns while managing six interceptions. Dart is expected to light up the scoreboard in his rookie season with the NFL.
“I’m a Jaxson Dart guy and I don’t think that he makes it out of the top 10. If I were the Raiders, the Jets, or the Saints, I would be very seriously considering drafting him in the top 10. He sees it well and he can throw it. For me he is that one guy in the class, I say Cam (Ward) is No. 1 at the QB spot but Jaxson Dart would be neck and neck with Shedeur for me.” Dan Orlovsky said about Shedeur Sanders in ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.

Meanwhile, Shedeur Sanders, son of former football player Deion Sanders, last played as a quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes. Before that, Sanders played for Jackson State where his father was a head coach. In his senior year, Sanders managed 4,134 passing yards in total, along with 37 touchdowns and ten interceptions.

Shedeur Sanders Might Play Alongside Travis Hunter For New York Giants As Per Mel Kiper Jr.
On another note, Shedeur Sanders might get his Colorado Buffaloes teammate, Travis Hunter, to play alongside him in the New York Giants, according to sports analyst Mel Kiper Jr. Kiper remarked that the New York Giants, who hold the no. 3 overall pick in the NFL draft, might do something crazy and manage to bring in both Sanders and Hunter.

Similar to Sanders, wide receiver Hunter also played his senior year with the Colorado Buffaloes after playing for the Jackson State Tigers. In his most recent season, 21-year-old Hunter managed 96 receptions in total for 1,258 passing yards, scoring 15 touchdowns. If the New York Giants do manage to get both Sanders and Hunter on their team, they will have a major rookie-powerhouse on their squad.
