The Cleveland Browns haven’t done much at quarterback this offseason, and the only thing they did was trade for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kenny Pickett.
Pickett isn’t supposed to be the team’s Day 1 starter, but the Browns don’t want to add another veteran quarterback.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson met with the Browns two weeks ago. On Monday, reports came out that the New York Giants are expected to sign Wilson, leaving the Browns looking for another quarterback.
The good news is that Cleveland has the No. 2 pick, which could mean they are taking a quarterback. Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders could be in play for the Browns since Miami’s Cam Ward is expected to go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans.
Browns fans seem pretty happy about the team’s decision not to agree to a deal with Wilson, and some think it’s because the team will draft Sanders.
