Shedeur Sanders should definitely be selected by the Tennessee Titans who have the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to former running back LeSean McCoy. As per McCoy, Sanders will not only fulfill the role of a great quarterback for the Titans, which the team desperately needs, but will also get young fans excited again about the team.
Sanders recently finished his college football career with the Colorado Buffaloes, with whom he played for a single season. Before that, the 23-year-old quarterback played for the Jackson State Tigers from 2021 to 2022. Sanders has been killing it on the field in terms of performance and is considered to be the best potential rookie in the upcoming NFL draft.
“Why would you want the best quarterback in the draft? Why would you want the most impactful quarterback in the draft? Now, I’ve been to a Titans game to play, right? I have really been in that town like that. First of all, the fans gonna love it. They want to see what Shedeur got, right? And I know to us, it might not matter, but to some of the young kids, the Titans, they haven’t been excited for so many years, watching them play. … Now you have a reason. You get the best quarterback in the draft to come there, and you get the excitement back in the city.” LeSean McCoy said on ‘The Facility’.
.@CutonDime25 think’s it’s a no-brainer for the Titans to draft Shedeur Sanders #1 overall:

LeSean McCoy is definitely the right person to plant such a verdict about Shedeur Sanders. The now-retired running back played in the NFL from 2009, all the way to 2020, ending his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

ESPN Reports Demote Shedeur Sanders To Second Round Of NFL Draft
While most NFL fans and analysts are hailing Shedeur Sanders as the potential no. 1 draft pick for the upcoming season, a recent ESPN report says otherwise. According to the report, four NFL experts out of six believe that Sanders does not belong in the first round of the NFL draft, but instead should be moved to the second round.

Sanders has been clearly impressive on the field especially in terms of his speed and his footwork. However, certain areas that Sanders may need to work on are his arm strength and his ability to handle pressure, which has thrown NFL scouts into doubt regarding his position in the draft. In his final season with the Colorado Buffaloes, the quarterback has thrown for 4,134 yards, scoring 37 touchdowns along with ten interceptions.
