Shannon Sharpe has been in the headlines for a long time now, but for all the wrong reasons. Sharpe has ongoing sexual assault allegations and a $50 million lawsuit. The former tight end was accused by a 20-year-old OnlyFans creator named Gabriella Zuniga.
Sharpe received huge backlash from several NFL fans and enthusiasts. Recently, former NFL MVP Cam Newton reacted to Sharpe’s situation, saying that people have the right to feel offended. Cam Newton opened up on the Sharpe’s situation via the “4th & 1” podcast.
“No. No means no, and we’re living in a day and age where, yes, people have the right to feel offended and feel any type of way. So, that’s not denying that specific fact. As things start to develop—and it’s still a developing story. When you see things develop that his image will take a hit,” Cam Newton said.
Shannon Sharpe’s career is already hanging by a thread after the sexual allegations came to light. ESPN released a statement to support his decision to step away from television. The chances of him returning to the sports network are pretty slim.

Actress Mo’Nique Trolls Shannon Sharpe For His $50 Million Sexual Assault Allegation
Shannon Sharpe was recently trolled by comedian and actress Mo’Nique. The actress appeared on the Katt Williams’ Heaven on Earth comedy tour and shocked everyone by pulling out Sharpe’s situation on stage.
It was a brutal take as the crowd was initially shocked by her response. However, they eventually burst open into laughter. Yet, some might believe that Mo’Nique went a little out of line with Sharpe.
“Here it come, baby. Here it come, God damn it. Yes, I told that n**ga Shannon Sharpe leave the white b**ches alone!” Mo’Nique said.

Another video went viral where Mo’Nique was seen calling out Sharpe again.
“You better take your old a** and get somebody to love you… You don’t need no 26-year-old girl, you don’t need no 36-year-old girl… take your old a** and get you an old b**ch out there that can love you old. You trying to hang out with these young b**ches, you can’t do it Shannon, you just can’t do it!” Mo’Nique said.

Mo’Nique received criticism for publicly disgracing Shannon Sharpe. While it seemed good for her eyes, many thought it was unnecessary. Sharpe is still fighting, saying that he had nothing to do with the entire situation. However, he’s received a huge black mark that is hard to erase.
