The Seattle Seahawks have had a busy offseason, hoping they can make a deep playoff run after missing out on the playoffs during the 2023 season.
One of their offensive weapons was projected to be a cap casualty, but both parties agreed to a restructured contract.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Seattle restructured the contract of Tyler Lockett worth 2-years, $30 million, with a maximum value of $34 million and $13 million guaranteed.
Lockett had two years and a nonguaranteed $34 million remaining on his contract.

Lockett appeared in 16 games in 2021, recording 73 receptions on 107 targets for 1,175 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 4.6 receptions per game, 11.0 yards per target, 16.1 yards per reception, and 73.4 yards per game.
Lockett appeared in 16 games in 2022, recording 84 receptions on 117 targets for 1,033 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 5.3 receptions per game, 8.8 yards per target, 12.3 yards per reception, and 64.6 yards per game. He also had six receptions on eight targets for 39 yards in the Wild Card.
Lockett appeared in 17 games in 2023, recording 79 receptions on 122 targets for 894 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 4.6 receptions per game, 7.3 yards per target, 11.3 yards per reception, and 52.6 yards per game.
Seattle’s top three receivers are intact.
