Oklahoma (10 – 2)and TCU (5 – 7) achieved a scorigami today, when the Sooners defeated the Horned Frogs 69-45 in a defense is optional type of game.
What is a “Scorigami”?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term “scorigami”, it means a score that has never occurred before. The term was coined by sports writer Jon Bois in 2016.

How the Score Happened: Oklahoma vs TCU
In the game, Sooner QB Dillon Gabriel threw for 400 yards and 3 touchdowns, while also running in another score. Sooner RB Gavin Sawchuk ran for 130 yards and 3 touchdowns. On the Horned Frog side, QB Josh Hoover tossed for 344 yards and 4 TDs. RB Emani Bailey had 174 total yards and 2 TDs.
The Sooners led throughout, jumping out to a 42-16 halftime lead. The Horned Frogs tried to battle back at home, but ultimately fell short. The closest they got was within 14 points at 52-38. This marks the end of the regular season for both teams.
The unique score happened when Hoover found Tight End Jared Wiley for a 5 yard score and K Griffin Kell capped it off with the extra point with 2:22 remaining in the game. The most recent occurrence of a new score was on November 5th when the Houston Texans defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 39-37.
