Everyone knows the San Francisco 49ers are one of the best teams in the NFL. They have an outstanding QB in Brock Purdy and a wealth of talent on offense and defense that can cause headaches for any NFL head coaches planning against them.
Brandon Aiyuk is one of the many terrifying talents the Niners currently have on their roster. He’s shown himself as a superior vertical threat who can run his routes and catch the football with the best of them. The fact that he even stands out in such a stacked roster is a testament to his talent and value.
However, it’s also known that his contract situation is not going swimmingly in San Fran. He knows his value and believes that he should be paid the amounts he thinks he deserves, and the Niners are yet to meet his demands.
The frustrating state of his negotiations already has several teams ready to pounce at any moment. Almost everyone and their mother can sense that Aiyuk’s time at Levi’s Stadium is headed to its conclusion.
Fans share their thoughts on Brandon Aiyuk’s situation with the San Francisco 49ers
It’s hard to imagine the Niners happily letting go of a talented wideout who caught for 1342 yards and seven touchdowns last season, but the nature of the business might have him go to another team.
The Spun’s Matt Hladik wrote about the situation and where Aiyuk may end up in the eyes of analysts and fans:
“If Brandon Aiyuk is truly available via trade (don’t know) I could make a strong argument Pittsburgh would be a perfect match,” said NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah.
“Samuel is not a real wide receiver and I’m guessing no one want to pay him franchise money. So the Niners are stuck with him. But Aiyuk is stuck with the Niners this year. So there should be no trade, IMO,” said Michael Salfino of The Athletic.
“At this point I wouldn’t trade for Aiyuk. See what Terry, Jahan, and Luke do. Also I think they have a high chance of being able to sign him in free agency. #Raisehail,” added a Commanders fan.
There are conflicting opinions on what the Niners would likely do in the final year of Aiyuk’s rookie deal with the Niners, but one thing’s for sure: they will do everything they can to keep him, but it might be a painful process for everyone involved.

Let him play this year out and put the franchise on him next year.
The money they want is stupid. Nobody takes there money away if they get hurt.
Those players start to think they are gods, well I have news for them, they have less talent them a good machinist. Fans can’t afford to go to games anymore but they do not care. They, the players should try to be human beings for a change.
