On February 5th, inside a Las Vegas strip club, All-Pro running back Alvin Kamara was arrested. The charge? Battery. This was after the 2022 Pro Bowl.
What happens if Alvin Kamara is convicted?
If convicted, the state of Nevada brings a possible prison sentence of up to five years. It would also include an unavoidable fine of 10,000. Drew Findling, Alvin Kamara’s lawyer, claims he wants to look into the case himself, looking to dismiss the charges on his client.
Roger Goodell also commented on the incident, “Our security team was contacted by the police in Las Vegas just before the game, saying they would like to meet with Alvin after the game,” Kamara is facing a 6-week suspension (a third of the NFL season), for the altercation.
