Former NFL player and analyst Rodney Harrison is under fire after trying to get the Kansas City Chiefs star defender Chris Jones to say something dirty about New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson. Jones went on the postgame show to talk about the game after the Chiefs took down the Jets 23-20 in a close battle on Sunday Night Football. Harrison, a former New England Patriot, tried to have a little ” Fun” when asking Jones a question about Jets quarterback Zach Wilson.

Chris Jones instead used the opportunity to praise Zach Wilson for his performance tonight.
Respect to Chris Jones.

Zach Wilson 2023
We all know that Zach Wilson has not had the best season so far, only recording 712 passing yards and four touchdowns in the first four games of the year. In this particular matchup, Wilson played much better than expected, going for 245 passing yards and two touchdowns, and was able to keep his team in a close game throughout.
Wilson has been criticized for his mediocre play and for not taking accountability in the past. However, last night the young quarterback looked to have a serious character development and it showed after the game. Wilson took responsibility for his team’s loss and said that he needs to do better, something that he hasn’t said ever.

Rodney Harrison On Zach Wilson
After playing one of the best games of his career, Wilson took full responsibility for the loss saying, “It’s on me. Critical situation, I can’t have a play like that. I cannot drop the ball. This team is sacrificing a lot. Guys were making plays, defense was making plays, o-line was protecting, and to be driving right there, and to drop a snap, I cannot do that. I lost us that game and I cannot do that. I was making it clear to those guys that I need to do better. I need to be better on the little things, the details. It can’t happen.”
You cannot hate on someone after taking full accountability and giving their 100 percent effort, and that is exactly what Rodney Harrison did. Trying to get another player from the opposing team to call another player “Garbage” is a very low blow. Luckily, Jones knew what Harrison was trying to do and had nothing but praise for the young quarterback.
