Legendary NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski is not one to hold in his thoughts on a situation, even if they seem a little bit harsh. Recently. Gronkowski shared his view on the firing of former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels. Let’s just say, the former tight end and Super Bowl champion did not hold back.

Rob Gronkowski Comments
Gronkowski, who worked with McDaniels during their time with the New England Patriots shared more of his thoughts on the situation on the “Up & Adams show,” talking about how he does not feel bad for him. He said, “He signed a six-year deal as a head coach. He’s gonna be paid out for those six years. So he’s getting head-coach money for the next four years of his life. That’s total BS.”
Gronkowski also called the whole situation “total BS,” not because of the firing of McDaniels, but because of how much money the former head coach is making to not work for the team. He also said, “I don’t feel bad for him at all in that sense,” when talking about the situation of him getting paid not to work.
Josh McDaniels Stories
Since the team let McDaniels go, the players and coaches have made it very clear how big of a problem he was in their locker room. Multiple players have anonymously come out to the public saying things like he was “clueless” and “he didn’t know what he was doing.”
A bunch of stories have come out just to show how big of a problem McDaniels was. He reportedly traded away a player just because his wife found him attractive, and he also called his kids in from trick-or-treating on Halloween to tell them that he had been fired. All of these stories almost guarantee that McDaniels will never be a head coach in the league again.
