‘Rigged’: Cincinnati Bengals Fans Irate as Officials Swallow Whistles in Critical Moment

Cincinnati Bengals fans were already weary heading into their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Baltimore Ravens as the flag-happiest officiating crew in the NFL was assigned to the game.

In the end, it was the lack of flags thrown after egregious penalties were committed by the Ravens on the final drive. Amazon Prime’s own rules analyst came in and said two penalties were missed on the go-ahead two-point conversion attempt at the end of the game.

Cincinnati Bengals fans saw their franchise quarterback mauled on the final drive

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was under pressure from the Ravens defense for the entire night, but that didn’t stop him from standing in and delivering an MVP-level performance.

The Bengals did get a roughing the passer call on the final drive, but two clear grabs at Burrow’s facemask were not called.

Not only was a missed facemask abundantly present on the final two-point conversion attempt, but tight end Mike Gesicki was held and brought to the ground before being allowed to run a route.

The NFL referees strikes AGAIN.

Bengals fans, along with the rest of the NFL world, called the officiating crew’s integrity into question. No other crew in the league had thrown more penalties all season, but when the Bengals needed the right calls the most flags were nowhere to be found.
