Michigan is coming off of one of the best seasons in their program history when they went 15-0 and won the title, but they did see a lot of turnover this offseason, losing their starting quarterback and head coach to the NFL.
Michigan Seems To Be Having A Good Offseason Under Their New Head Coach
The Wolverines turned their program over to their offensive coordinator, Sherrone Moore, as their new head coach. When coaches change in college football, many players from the current team usually hit the transfer portal, but at Michigan, that didn’t happen. Many people were waiting for star cornerback Will Johnson or defensive tackle Mason Graham to hit the portal. Still, Moore did a great job keeping those two players on the roster and has also done a great job landing players in recruiting.
Sherrone Moore Is In The Lead To Land A Great Running Back
According to 247sports.com, class of 2025 running back Marquise Davis has landed a crystal ball protection to Michigan.
New #247Sports Crystal Ball prediction in favor of #Michigan from myself and @AllenTrieu.

Davis is ranked as the 166th player in the 2025 class and the 11th running back; most importantly, he is from Ohio.
Stealing A Player From Ohio Is Major
Stealing a player from Ohio is enormous for the Wolverines because it’s always a huge win when you can go into your biggest rival state and steal one of their best players. After all, you steal a player your rival could get and take him away from them.
Michigan has had the upper hand in the rivalry right now against Ohio State, beating them three straight years in a row, and now they are going into their state and stealing players.
If Buckeye fans thought Sherrone Moore was going to be an easy out, they are wrong because he is still on a mission to keep the Wolverines as one of the best teams in college football.
