Ran Carthon talks about Derrick Henry trade report
There have been rumors floating that the Tennessee Titans are looking to trade running back Derrick Henry this offseason. The Titans have seen numerous veterans sign contracts with other teams this offseason. General manager Ran Carthon spoke about where the Titans are at with Henry. He disputed the validity of the report the team was looking to trade Henry.

According to a video posted on Twitter by ESPN reporter Turron Davenport at the League Annual Meeting, Carthon said the Titans are in a good place with Henry and said the report the Titans placed Henry on the trade block was not factual:
“There’s nothing new to report,” Carthon said. “There was an erroneous report that came out. I’ve spoken to Todd [France], Derrick’s representative, and we’re in a good place. So, there’s nothing new to report from there.

The Titans would likely have suitors lined up for Henry if the Titans were open to trading him. Henry had the second-most rushing yards in the NFL last season.
