The Los Angeles Rams could very well be moving on from Cooper Kupp this offseason. If Kupp were to leave the Rams, there would be a major market for him.

However, the Rams could also be trading away quarterback Matthew Stafford. One potential team that could be in the mix for Matthew Stafford this offseason is the New York Giants. The Giants are a team that needs to make a major splash this offseason.

If the Rams moved off of Stafford before they moved off of Kupp, it would be interesting to see if Cooper Kupp would follow Matthew Stafford or not. Brandon Tierney of WFAN thinks that Kupp could follow Stafford to the New York Giants if Stafford was traded to the Big Apple this offseason. Tierney said:
“Can I see a situation next year where you have Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Nabers, a young, cheap, explosive running back? I could. To me, that is a lot more appealing than throwing a dart and hoping Sanders is the guy. More and more, I don’t think he is. I think those guys are so tight, I think Kupp would follow him here.”
That would be great for the New York Giants organization if both went there this offseason. Kupp last season caught 67 passes for 710 yards receiving and six touchdowns, along with averaging 10.6 yards per reception. Cooper Kupp was targeted 100 times and he is 31 years old.
A tandem of Kupp and Malik Nabers would be very good for the New York Giants. This would excite the fanbase.

Neither Kupp nor Wandale can really play on the outside, so I don’t see it

Stafford would be down for the count by game 4. He is capable of taking a beating!

That would be great if it was five years ago

Giants general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll know that they have to win games next season. If New York finishes with a 3-14 record again next year like last season, owner John Mara will be firing everyone and starting all over. Outside of the Stafford and Kupp noise, it will be interesting to see what they do with the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft also.
