Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni isn’t taking any chances with Cowboys star Micah Parsons. Ahead of their week 9 divisional matchup, Sirianni is making sure that his team is focused on stopping the defensive powerhouse.
Philadelphia Eagles Nick Sirianni On Micah Parsons
“You gotta think about them more than their loved ones think about them,” Sirianni said in a Wednesday press conference. The coaching staff is diligently preparing to stop Parsons. He has been one of the most dominating forces in the league this year. While the Eagles’ offensive line is one of the best in the league, they cannot forget about Parsons. If they do, he will make any offensive line pay. If the Eagles are able to contain Parsons, can they slow the rest of the team down as well?
Can The Eagles Take Down Their Divisional Foe?
Parsons isn’t the only player that has been dominating for the Dallas Cowboys. DaRon Bland has stepped into the CB1 role since the Trevon Diggs injury and has been amazing. On the offensive side of the ball, Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb have their connection back and will put stress on any defense. While the Eagles should definitely be favored at home, this is by no means an easy matchup. It is an important game for the Eagles as it could give them a two-game cushion in the division at the halfway point of the season.
Sirianni knows the importance of this game which is why he is not taking the Cowboys’ best player lightly. In a week full of unexciting matchups, this game provides one of the most intriguing matchups of the week.
