The Philadelphia Eagles have had some incredible players throughout the history of the team and they do a great job of adding them into the history books as it was announced during the Preseason Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings that former running back LeSean McCoy will be inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame on November 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The team announced it with a pre-taped video of owner Jeffrey Lourie announcing the decision to add LeSean McCoy to the Eagles Hall of Fame. LeSean McCoy played the first six seasons of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles as he had a pair of All-Pros and three Pro Bowl appearances with the team from 2009 to 2014.
He is not the only former member of the Philadelphia Eagles being recognized this season as Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars will see the official retirement of Super Bowl-winning quarterback Nick Foles.
What should we expect out of the Philadelphia Eagles this season?
The Philadelphia Eagles are going to be a force as they have arguably their best running back this season since losing LeSean McCoy in Saquon Barkley. With the Dallas Cowboys losing All-Pro cornerback DaRon Bland for the beginning of the season, they should convincingly win the NFC East.
The Eagles offense has been one of the more dominant on paper as they now have the three-headed wide receiver options of AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Jahan Dotson after trading with the Washington Commanders earlier this week. This offense should lead the way and absolutely dominate to the point where the team should look like they did in the first half of the 2023 season.
