The Philadelphia Eagles had a disappointing finish to their 2023-24 NFL season. They not only lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the wild card round but also lost five of their last six games to end the season. This finish raised a lot of issues in Philadelphia.
Some people stated that QB Jalen Hurts is overrated. Others wondered if WR A.J. Brown was still committed to the Eagles. Today, Brown spoke out on this to clear the air.
A.J. Brown Wants to Remain With Philadelphia Eagles
Earlier today, A.J. Brown called into SportsRadio 94WIP to clear the air on where he stands with Philadelphia. One of the radio hosts wanted Brown to clarify his position on this. Brown’s answer made it perfectly clear how he felt about the Eagles.
“I have no problem. I want to be here. It’s as simple as that.” -A.J. Brown
Stance on Jalen Hurts
Brown was also asked how he felt about Jalen Hurts. He essentially said that the idea of him and Hurts having an issue was ridiculous.
“I think that is BS. I’m not going to get into our relationship on the air…it wasn’t a problem when I was on my six-game streak. They only started talking about that when we started losing.” -A.J. Brown
Philadelphia Eagles Moving Forward
The Eagles have work to do in 2024. To help with this, they hired offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. After this candid interview, Eagles fans should be optimistic about the offense running it back next season.
