Former legendary Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has had a successful career outside of football since he retired from playing in 2015. He has been commentating games for Monday Night Football with his brother, Eli Manning, while also bringing on celebrity guests to his show, the ‘Manning Cast’. While the brothers make for some great television, Peyton has been brought up in discussions regarding the former quarterback becoming a partial owner of an NFL franchise.
Peyton Manning Reveals Decision On Ownership
These rumors have started to pick up steam during the offseason, which has caused Manning to reveal his true feelings about potentially becoming a part-time owner of a team.
I don’t think that’s anywhere on my radar by any means. I love being an ambassador for the Broncos and for the Colts, for the University of Tennessee. Obviously, living here I get to go to all the Broncos games. I was out at the facility the other day.
I still feel an attachment and have really enjoyed getting to know the Walton-Penner family as well. But as far as running a team, I don’t think that’s on my radar.

Manning Could Consider Ownership In The Future?
While it seems like the legendary quarterback is content right now, there is a possibility of him becoming more involved with the league in the future. Whether it would be for the Broncos or the Colts, both franchises seem like they would welcome Manning with open arms if he were to express interest in becoming a partial owner.
One Of The Greatest To Play The Game
During his playing tenure, Manning amounted to 71,940 total passing yards and 539 touchdowns with Indianapolis and Denver. He was drafted by the Colts in 1998 and was their starting quarterback until 2012 when he joined the Broncos until retiring in 2015 after winning the Super Bowl against the Carolina Panthers.
Do you think Manning will ever consider ownership of an NFL team, or will he continue his legacy in the broadcasting field?
