Paul Finebaum is not happy with the Big Ten conference over the scandal at Michigan. Amid a massive sign-stealing scandal, punishments have yet to be handed out by any entity. On ESPN’s Get Up this morning, Finebaum blasted conference officials over their inaction.
"Two weeks ago I sat here with you and made the biggest mistake of my professional career. I gave Jim Harbaugh the benefit of the doubt. Never again. … The fact that the Big Ten has not done anything yet is inexcusable."

Paul Finebaum Blasts Big Ten Over Inaction Against Michigan
Finebaum gave Jim Harbaugh the benefit of the doubt but after the information that has come out, he is changing his mind.
“Two weeks ago I sat here with you and made the biggest mistake of my professional career. I gave Jim Harbaugh the benefit of the doubt. Never again. … The fact that the Big Ten has not done anything yet is inexcusable.”
Finebaum does not understand why the conference is not punishing the Wolverines. The mountain of evidence that has come out is very concerning. It seems that every other day there is a new wrinkle to this story. While the investigation is still ongoing, it seems unlikely that Harbaugh and the school will come out unscathed.
Will The Conference Do Anything?
Everyone seems to be waiting until there is confirmation of the situation. Central Michigan University is investigating whether Connor Stallions was on the sidelines during their game against the Spartans. Nothing is conclusive except for a couple of pictures. It seems like no one wants to be premature in the situation. The higher-ups might also not want to be quick to action as the Wolverines are one of the top teams in the conference and therefore one of their biggest money drivers.
The whole situation is a mess. Everyone is sure that the program is guilty and yet no punishment has been given. Stay tuned to Gridiron Heroics for all the latest on this situation.
