Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, was recently asked about his personal relationships with the NFL referees, amidst rumors that the QB has been given favorable calls by game officials. However, Mahomes gave a very diplomatic answer to the reporter.
Most of the rumors about NFL referees favoring Mahomes and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs came about after the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills. In that game, the Chiefs managed to win the game with a final score of 32-29. QB Mahomes managed to throw for 245 yards, completing 18 passes out of 26 attempts with a solo touchdown.
“All the refs are great, man. All the refs are great. They do the best they can. Go out there and play the game the right way.” Patrick Mahomes said to the reporter on Super Bowl media day.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl on Sunday after defeating the Buffalo Bills in the NFL Conference Championships. The Chiefs finished the regular season with 15 wins and only two defeats. This is the third straight Super Bowl that the team is appearing in and is expected to win the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Patrick Mahomes Discusses Possibility Of Taylor Swift Halftime Show
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes dropped a hot take on if Taylor Swift might be expected to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. While it was certainly speculated that Swift might perform at the halftime show, recent reports say that Kendrick Lamar will be performing, with SZA as a special guest.
Mahomes was asked by a reporter if Taylor Swift would indeed perform at the halftime show, but went on to say that it will be difficult for her to do so as long as her boyfriend, Travis Kelce is playing in the Super Bowl.
Taylor Swift has been showing up to Kansas City Chiefs games regularly ever since she started dating KC tight end, Travis Kelce. In fact, the two took their relationship public after Swift was seen at one of Kelce’s games. Swift has become the main reason for an increase in viewership of NFL games, particularly those of Kansas City.
Even if she might not perform as an artist in the halftime show of the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift will definitely be present at the game to support her boyfriend. Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, reported this recently.
