The biggest cheating scandal in college football in the past decade has been the Michigan sign-stealing scandal that left Jim Harbaugh suspended for the last three regular-season games last year and the operation leader, Connor Stalions, stepping down.
Of course, Michgan’s biggest rival, Ohio State, was not a fan of their plays being stolen, and one of the former Buckeye players brought up something that could change the entire scandal.
Former Ohio State tight end Cade Stover just got drafted into the NFL by the Houston Texans, but before he suits up in an NFL game, he still has some comments for his former rivals.
Cade Stover Hints That Ohio State Was Getting Plays Stolen They Never Ran Before
Cade Stover was being interviewed, and they asked him if he had watched the Connor Stalions documentary on Netflix. Of course, he said he was tired of the Michigan sign-stealing scandal. Then he started to talk about how, during one of the games, Michigan knew a tight end screen was coming, and Ohio State had never run the play before in the game.
The former Buckeye tight end stated he heard the Michigan players yelling screen, knowing it was coming, but they never put this play on tape before, so there had to be more than Michigan stealing, just game signs.

It seems really shady that Michigan knew a play was coming that the Buckeyes had never run before in a game. They could’ve only known it was coming by watching practice film.
Now, there is a chance Michigan could’ve been stealing practice film and breaking into cameras because they wouldn’t have known the play if they didn’t see it being run on the practice field.
Stover brings up a lot of new evidence that people have never heard before, so now, it’s going to be interesting to see if any more Ohio State players come out or other college teams that played Michigan and have their own crazy stories about what plays they knew that they never put on game tape.
It seems like the Michigan sign-stealing scandal is ending, and the NCAA will be handing down the punishments soon, but maybe new evidence will come out with Stover’s comments.
