Nick Wright, sports TV personality, seems quite frustrated with the continuing news coverage of NFL officials reportedly favoring the Kansas City Chiefs. In his recent appearance on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’, Wright discussed the Chiefs winning against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game and also expressed his disappointment with the way that the Chiefs were portrayed by the media in the last week.
The Kansas City Chiefs won against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game with a final score of 32-29. Against the Bills, Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes completed 18 passes out of 26 attempts for 245 yards. The quarterback managed to score only one touchdown in that game, while Kareem Hunt contributed another, with 17 carries for 64 yards.
“I’m angry at how last week got hijacked. I’m angry at folks instead of being like, ‘I’m sorry. I was wrong creating a nonsense conspiracy,’ I’m angry at the way we cover football.” Nick Wright said on ‘The Dan Patrick Show’.
Despite his #Chiefs continued dominance, @GetNickWright is upset at the coverage of them:

Nick Wright has been a die-hard supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, and while the team did perform impressively in the close game, the rumors about officials favoring them overshadowed the news about the actual matchup.

Nick Wright Claims Patrick Mahomes Is Greatest NFL Player
In other news, Nick Wright called the Kansas City Chiefs the greatest team ever, while also stating that Patrick Mahomes was perhaps the greatest player ever in Monday’s episode of ‘First Things First’.
“How could there ever be a doubt? We are watching the greatest team in the history of the sport led by arguably the greatest player in the history of the sport.” Nick Wright mentioned in ‘First Things First’.
The Kansas City Chiefs will head to their third straight Super Bowl after defeating the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game. On February 9th, the Chiefs will meet the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome, with odds heavily predicting Kansas City to win.
The Chiefs are led in offense by quarterback Patrick Mahomes who has covered 3,928 yards in the 2024 NFL season, scoring 26 touchdowns with 11 interceptions. However, his numbers are much lower than the 2023 NFL season where he covered 4,183 yards, and even the 2022 NFL season where he managed a career-high 5,250 yards.
Despite his decreasing numbers, Mahomes has managed to lead the team to a string of victories. Mahomes’ successes are expected to keep growing, just like Tom Brady, who holds the record for seven championships.
