Nick Wright is worried about one AFC contender, the Buffalo Bills. The news out of the minicamp has not been positive as Stefon Diggs has created some drama. As the Bills try to win the ever elusive Super Bowl, Wright says that this team is heading on a ‘straight downward trajectory.’

Nick Wright On The Buffalo Bills
It isn’t just the Diggs drama though that is part of it. Wright says that how Josh Allen ended the season last season was not promising. While many fans will point towards an injury that hampered him it still is not good to see. The defense buoyed the team throughout the season but often has problems stopping the best teams in the league. If the Bills come up short again, it could spell doom for the organization.

Overreaction Or No?
Clearly there is some drama. No one really knows why Diggs is upset which is scary. If the Bills start winning, it will cure all. If the Bills start out the season on the wrong foot, the drama will only increase. There is a very real world where this team implodes and struggles this season. The AFC East is a gauntlet with the Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots all vying for a playoff spot. If we expand out to the conference, the Chiefs, Chargers, Ravens, Bengals, and Jaguars are all waiting. There is not much room for error in 2023.
Nick Wright isn’t high on the Buffalo Bills. Many other analysts are worried about the offseason drama as usually that does not lead to a successful season. The hope is that this all blows over in the next couple of months and when training camp rolls around, this drama is all behind them.
