NFL Fans took to social media to share their main complains about the start of the 2024 NFL Draft. The draft featured many Detroit Lions legends including superstar Eminem. While many fans were loving the introduction, most fans took issue with how slow the whole process was going.
Fans thought that commissioner Roger Goodell delivered a rather cringy dialogue as the draft was getting started and the picks only started 15 minutes after it was scheduled at 8 pm. This led many fans to erupt on social media about the long wait for the draft to get started.
NFL Fans React To 2024 Draft Introduction
Here are some of the best NFL fans reactions to the slow start to the draft. Fans seemed upset that it took so long to get the draft going.
“So what time will the draft actually start?” one fan questioned.
“How are you gonna “start” the draft 10 minutes after 7? And then give the Bears 10 minutes after that. Crazy. You’re gonna be 20 minutes into the show and 1 pick,” added another.
“The draft has become so drawn out like holy [expletive] let’s get started already. 8 pm start time only to take another 30 mins before the first pick like why,” offered a third.
One of the other main complaints was that it took the Chicago Bears 10 minutes to make their pick. Everyone in the world knew who they would be taking, and they themselves must have known for weeks.
“The first overall pick has had MONTHS. They shouldn’t get a full 10 minutes to start the draft. Just your yearly reminder it’s pretty silly,” a fan said.
“Every minute the Bears let pass before turning in the pick should cost them a future pick,” suggested another.
There were other fans however who loved the Eminem appearance.
