We’re fortunate enough to have a double header on this frigid Monday. To start off today’s slate, we have Pittsburgh Steelers @ Buffalo Bills with a full injury report. With the nasty weather conditions, the outlook of this game is a bit up in the air. There are plenty of names on the injury report for that game, so pay close attention. The list for the second game is slim, but it features one of the league’s best players in A.J. Brown. Without their star receiver, it’ll certainly be a challenge to move the ball through the air. Steelers @ Bills Injury Report
Pittsburgh Steelers
T.J. Watt: A knee injury will keep the Steelers’ best player sidelined this week. It’s a massive loss for a Steelers team that was already looking at a tough task today. Watt leads the team in sacks by far with a total of 19. Backup Markus Golden is a decent rotation rusher, but only has four sacks on the year. Expect a pretty clean pocket for Josh Allen today.
Buffalo Bills
Gabe Davis: Buffalo will be without their No. 2 wide receiver as he deals with a knee injury of his own. Davis has largely been inconsistent this year. He hasn’t often been a piece of this offense in recent weeks which means he may not be missed that much. Expect a larger target share for Dalton Kincaid, James Cook and Stefon Diggs.
Rasul Douglas: Continuing with the trend of knee injuries, the Bill’s No. 2 outside corner will be out. Since the Bills traded for him midseason, he hasn’t been on the field much due to the same knee injury. Luckily for Buffalo, Christian Benford has been incredible in coverage these past couple of weeks and has been one of the league’s best backup cornerbacks. Benford should match up relatively evenly with George Pickens, especially with the brutal snow conditions.
Eagles @ Buccaneers Injury Report
Philadelphia Eagles
A.J. Brown: The Eagles will be without a big part of their offense as Brown recovers from a knee injury. It’s a huge downgrade for Philadelphia’s offense, as Devonta Smith and Julio Jones/Quez Watkins will take over as the starting outside receivers. If Tampa Bay doubles Devonta Smith, the Eagles will be in serious trouble today. Look for Dallas Goedert, Quez Watkins and Kenneth Gainwell to receive a larger target share tonight.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
No notable injuries.
