The NFL has been absolutely dominated by the Kansas City Chiefs in the last half decade, and they are putting their foot on the gas pedal for more success. The team is coming off back to back championships, and they are looking for more help to win a third straight Super Bowl, something no team has ever done before. Now, Travis Kelce is trying to recruit the greatest defensive tackle ever to the team for 2024.
Travis Kelce Is Trying To Recruit Aaron Donald
Perhaps the greatest defensive player of all time, Aaron Donald, retired this off season. After a Super Bowl champion with the Rams, and a legendary career, the star told coach Sean McVay that he was done. Kelce however, think Donald may have one season left and wants to recruit him to the Chiefs for their Super Bowl run.
Teaming up Chris Jones and Aaron Donald would be the scariest defensive combo the NFL has ever seen by a mile. While the team had to say goodbye to their star corner L’Jarius Sneed, recruiting Aaron Donald would be more than enough compensation.
Travis Kelce Wants To Create The Scariest NFL Duo
Travis Kelce has one of the most popular NFL podcasts with his brother Jason Kelce. He took to the podcast to share that he will be recruiting Donald to join the Chiefs this season, and perhaps even later on in the season.
“If you want to win one more, uh, Super Bowl. Just, uh… we’ll probably… have some availability somewhere in December,” Kelce said.
While Donald is showing no signs of unretiring any time soon, he may feel differently when he sits out and watches the beginning of this season.
