We have officially reached Week 14 of the NFL season and man it has been a whirlwind. Here is a list of who we think the top 10 teams are and what they will continue to do throughout the rest of the season.
NFL Top 10 Teams
San Francisco 49ers (9-3)
I do not think that there is a single soul on this earth that is questioning the dominance of the 49ers after their blowout win in Philadelphia on Sunday. The 42-19 win demonstrated that the 49ers deserve to be ranked first going into Week 14. Brock Purdy has 3,185 yards, 23 touchdowns, 6 interceptions and a QBR of 75.6. They have some serious depth to their roster with George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey, just to name a few, putting up HUGE numbers for the team. It is safe to say that if they keep playing the way that they played on Sunday, they are going to make a statement throughout the remainder of the season.
Miami Dolphins (9-3)
The Dolphins are leading the AFC East and they plan to keep it that way. This team is also stacked and Tua Tagovailoa is leading the way with 3,457 yards for 24 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and a QBR of 61.9. Raheem Mostert, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are just a few of the Dolphins that are posting huge stats on the season. Miami should have no trouble getting through their next two games, but their schedule heats up after that with Cowboys, Ravens, Bills as their last three regular season games. This will be their chance to prove themselves and truly define their season.
Philadelphia Eagles (10-2)
The Eagles have snuck past some big opponents this season, which I think confused some people into thinking that they were the best team in the league. After seeing how they played against the 49ers, we can all agree that they are not. Some huge weaknesses were exposed and if they are going to have to clean it up if they want to see continued success in the remainder of the season. Jalen Hurts has 2,995 yards for 19 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and a QBR of 61.4 this season. This week’s matchup against the Cowboys will be huge for Philadelphia.
Baltimore Ravens (9-3)
The Ravens have been fairly consistent throughout this season and coming off of a bye week, they have a lot of room to make a statement against the up and coming Rams this week. Lamar Jackson is leading the charge with 2,618 yards for 13 touchdowns, 5 interceptions and a QBR of 58.8. They will look for a hot end to the season, as they have some of the biggest matchups in the league, facing the Jaguars, 49ers and Dolphins all in a row.
Kansas City Chiefs (8-4)
The Chiefs struggled against the Packers on Sunday night, but they definitely were robbed of some key calls by the referee team. Whether this means they should have won, probably not, but it means something for sure. Mahomes has 3,127 yards for 22 touchdowns, 10 interceptions and a QBR of 69.7. Isaiah Pacheco has been a powerhouse this season and the Chiefs will need this to continue throughout the rest of the season if they want to climb back to the top. Travis Kelce is also a superstar, but with the amount of pressure teams have been putting on him, his role might be impacted.
Dallas Cowboys (9-3)
With Dak Prescott behind the ball, the Cowboys should have a good shot in the playoffs this season. Prescott has 3,234 yards for 26 touchdowns, 6 interceptions and a QBR of 75.4. CeeDee Lamb is also leading the charge with 90 receptions for 1,182 yards and 7 touchdowns on the season. The chemistry between these two will be huge with a rough schedule ahead, facing the Eagles, Bills, Dolphins and Lions all in a row.
Buffalo Bills (6-6)
The Bills have had a rough season to say the least, but it is far from over. They have a bye this week which will be good going into the remainder of the season. They have huge matchups against Kansas City, Dallas and Miami all in the last few weeks of the season. Josh Allen has 3,214 yards for 24 touchdowns, 13 interceptions and a QBR of 72.4. With the way he has been playing, it is very possible that the Bills will put up some wins against these big named teams.
Detroit Lions (9-3)
This Lions team is good. They need to keep it up if they want to make a statement in the playoffs. Jared Goff has 3,288 yards for 20 touchdowns, 8 interceptions and a QBR of 60.4. With Amon-Ra St. Brown and David Montgomery behind him, they have a great chance against some of the higher ranked teams.
Houston Texans (7-5)
It is absolutely incredible what rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and this Texans team have done this season. Stroud has 3,540 yards on the season for 20 touchdowns, 5 interceptions and a QBR of 59.4. They have a pretty steady schedule in the next few weeks and will look to improve their record.
Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4)
It is not looking good for this Jacksonville team, especially with Trevor Lawrence sustaining an ankle injury on Monday against the Bengals. Lawrence has 3,004 yards for 14 touchdowns, 7 interceptions and a QBR of 61.3. It is no secret that they looked much better at the beginning of the season, and that is just not what it takes to put up wins when it matters most.
