After 13 years of marriage, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel Gisele Bundchen called it quits some time ago. Now, the latter has released an update to her life without the New England Patriots star.
Brady and Bundchen’s relationship began in late 2006 when they started dating. The couple tied the knot in 2009 and went on to have two children together – a son born in 2009 and a daughter born in 2012.
However, after over a decade of marriage, the high-profile couple announced their divorce in October 2022. Reports suggest that Brady’s indecision about retiring from the NFL had caused strain in their relationship, as Bundchen had voiced concerns about the long-term effects of the sport on her husband’s health.
Despite the divorce, both Brady and Bundchen have expressed a desire for each other’s happiness, with the latter emphasizing that she wishes her ex-husband well. The couple’s split was the culmination of a whirlwind romance that had captivated the public eye for many years.
Former Supermodel Gisele Bundchen Drops Life Update After Divorce From NFL GOAT Tom Brady
While Brady has been all over the place because of his new broadcasting career, Bundchen has been quite quiet from the public eye. In an article by Kirsty Hatcher and Linda Marx for People, the former supermodel gave an update about her current status.
A source tells PEOPLE that the supermodel, 43, has “blossomed” since her split from ex-husband Tom Brady.
“She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,” the source said.
For his part, Brady’s broadcasting gig is growing as he is set to cover the NFL when the new season starts. The two were also a hot topic on a roast shown on Netflix about the New England Patriots quarterback’s career.
At this point in time, both Bundchen and Brady have settled into their separate lives well. Hopefully, the two can blossom in their own right in the years to come.
