As The NFL trade deadline is just two days away, there are plenty of huge blockbuster trade talks going on surrounding the New Orleans Saints’ elite cornerback Marshon Lattimore. With the Saints looking terrible to start the year, and potentially going to take another loss to the 1-7 Carolina Panthers, they may be looking to trade their star player before the deadline.
NFL Teams Are All Calling For Marshon Lattimore Per Multiple Reports

There are now multiple reports that teams are showing interest in a blockbuster trade. According to several reports, including one from Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, Lattimore is attracting trade interest even with potential health concerns.
“Teams have called about #Saints 4x Pro Bowl CB Marshon Lattimore, though it remains unclear if New Orleans would be willing to entertain a deal,” Schultz tweeted Sunday. “The Saints are 2-6 and get Derek Carr back today. Rival teams believe that a loss to Carolina could prompt New Orleans to strongly explore multiple moves.”
Schultz is not the first insider to mention Lattimore drawing trade interest. On Saturday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter wrote that teams had reached out to New Orleans about the veteran cornerback, though Lattimore’s health is “one of the potential holdups.”
“The four-time Pro Bowl cornerback is not playing Sunday against the Panthers, but it hasn’t stopped teams from calling about him, including the two-time defending champion Chiefs,” Schefter wrote.
If the Chiefs were to get another star cornerback to their already top 3 defense in the league, they could be off to another Super Bowl win. Many other teams are trying to get in the mix to get the str corner who still has a lot left in the tank.
Lattimore, who missed half of the regular season games in 2022-23, has made 30 tackles and two pass deflections across his seven starts this season. When healthy, he remains a valuable asset for any team aiming for a strong postseason showing.
For the Saints, the upcoming weeks feature a slightly easier schedule, offering a potential opportunity to rally if Carr returns and performs well, starting with today’s game. A loss to the 1-7 Panthers, however, might signal the end of their 2024 hopes and prompt New Orleans to consider trading players for draft assets ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.
At the moment, the Saints have six picks for the 2025 NFL Draft. They lack selections in the fifth and seventh rounds but have an extra pick in the sixth.
