There is officially an NFL beef brewing between numerous New York Jets players and Mecole Hardman of the Kansas City Chiefs. Mecole caught the game winning walk off touchdown in the Super Bowl and on Wednesday in an interview he took many jabs at his former team the Jets about how they are not a winning team.
Many Jets Players Are Accusing Mecole Hardman Of Leaking Game Plan
Sauce Gardener of the Jets posted and quickly took down a post accusing Hardman of leaking their offensive game plan to the Philadelphia Eagles. Now there are more players on the team sharing the same sentiment.
Following Hardman’s shots at the Jets, Thomas Morstead the punter clapped back at Hardman saying:
“Be careful getting information from disgruntled former employee. Getting beat out by a rookie free agent after being guaranteed millions of dollars is tough to deal with.”
Then Kenny Yeboah chimed in as well further pushing the narrative that Hardman leaked their game plans.
“He’s Tripping out, he ain’t talk about his own work ethic and how the Georgia eagles got our game plan.”
This is now multiple players saying that Hardman leaked their game plan to the Eagles and perhaps this could push the NFL to conduct an investigation.
NFL May Conduct Investigation On Mecole Hardman Leak
Sauce Gardener’s post that was later taken down was quite direct about his accusations. He wrote:
“We ain’t gon talk about how our offensive gameplan got leaked vs. the Eagles tho :(.”
With now multiple players making these accusations it is likely that the NFL will conduct some sort of investigation as to what really went on for the Jets. What is even crazier is that the team still managed to win that game but that is irrelevant to whether or not Hardman leaked the team’s plans.
If Hardman did in fact do this, it would be an awful look for him and would make teams very weary of having him on the roster. Hardman has the last laugh as he is yet again a Super Bowl Champion.
