In the penultimate week of the NFL’s regular season, injury reports are longer than ever. There’s plenty of backups to take advantage of in this week of fantasy football championships. If not you’re already eliminated, pay close attention to make then right bets for this week. If either of those things don’t matter to you, there’s plenty of playoff scenario excitement around the league. Regardless, Week 17 should be one of the most exciting of the season. Click here for part two of this week’s injury report.
Rams @ Giants Injury Report
Los Angeles Rams
No notable injuries
New York Giants
No notable injuries
Cardinals @ Eagles Injury Report
Arizona Cardinals
Marquise Brown: A heel injury will again keep Arizona’s best receiver sidelined. Brown is talented but hasn’t been used right since the beginning of the season. Starting receivers Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore may get flashy plays now and then but don’t expect much from them in overall production. Trey McBride should lead the team in receiving.
Leki Fotu/Jonathan Ledbetter: Arizona will also be without two starting defensive linemen in Fotu and Ledbetter. They weren’t exactly great run stuffers, but neither are their backups. With their 27th-best rush defense missing a couple of starters, expect Philadelphia to be dominant running the ball.
Philadelphia Eagles
Darius Slay: The Eagles’ best corner will miss another contest while he recovers from a knee injury. Backup Kelee Ringo has played pretty well these last couple of weeks, with coverage grades around 80. Ringo should have little issue guarding Rondale Moore this week.
Raiders @ Colts Injury Report
Las Vegas Raiders
Josh Jacobs: A quad injury has Jacobs listed as doubtful, as he did not practice all week. That shouldn’t be a huge issue, as backup Zamir White has been hot lately and is coming off a 140-yard performance against Kansas City last week. With the Colts’ rush defense having regressed to 16th, expect a solid game from White.
Michael Mayer: A toe injury will force the Raiders’ starting tight end to miss another week. Backup Austin Hooper will take his place. Since Hooper isn’t the receiving threat he used to be, expect a larger target share for Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, and Tre Tucker.
Indianapolis Colts
Zach Moss: A forearm injury has consistently bothered Moss during this season and it’ll force him to miss this week. Thankfully for the Colts, Jonathan Taylor is back. Since he’s an upgrade over Moss, expect the Colts’ run game to improve with him back in the lineup.
Saints @ Buccaneers Injury Report
New Orleans Saints
Ryan Ramczyk: A knee injury will ensure New Orleans’ best offensive lineman doesn’t play. Backup Landon Young will again be called into action. He’s shown to be a good pass blocker at times although he can be just as bad in run blocking. Facing Tampa Bay’s 7th-ranked pass rush, expect Derek Carr to feel plenty of pressure this week.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Shaquil Barrett: One of Tampa Bay’s best pass rushers will miss this week due to a groin injury. Although he’s a big name, he’s not one of the biggest reasons for their pass-rush success this year. Backup Anthony Nelson has been similarly productive to Barrett. Although he doesn’t cause the same issues Barrett does, they should still be able to get after Derek Carr as a unit.
Carlton Davis III: The Bucs’ No. 2 corner will miss this week due to a concussion. Zyon McCollum, one of the worst-graded corners in the league will step into the starting lineup. This presents a huge advantage for Raheed Shaheed, who could burn him for multiple deep balls if Carr has enough time to throw.
Falcons @ Bears Injury Report
Atlanta Falcons
No notable injuries.
Chicago Bears
Darnell Mooney: A concussion will keep Chicago’s No. 2 receiver sidelined this week. With Mooney out of the lineup, expect more runs for Justin Fields and a larger target share for DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and Khalil Herbert.
Titans @ Texans Injury Report
Tennessee Titans
No notable injuries.
Houston Texans
Jonathan Greenard: Houston will be without their most productive pass rusher while he recovers from an ankle injury. It would’ve been a huge asset to have him on the field against the league’s 2nd worst offensive line. With Jerry Hughes in the lineup, expect the Texans to still get after Will Levis, but at a lower rate.
49ers @ Commanders Injury Report
San Francisco 49ers
Arik Armstead: San Francisco will be missing one of their best interior defensive linemen for this week while he deals with foot and knee injuries. It shouldn’t make much of a difference against a struggling Washington offensive line. Backup Javon Kinlaw has been solid this year and isn’t too big of a downgrade.
Ji’ayir Brown: The Niners will also be without their starting free safety. With Logan Ryan starting, this puts San Francisco into dangerous territory depth-wise. They have no depth behind Ryan, who hasn’t played much at all this season. Still, the rest of the defense should make up for this.
Washington Commanders
Kendall Fuller/Benjamin St. Juste: Washington will be without their top outside corners facing a dangerous 49ers offense. Emmanuel Forbes and Kyu Blu Kelly seem to be the starters for this week. Both are extremely inexperienced and should have long days tomorrow. Expect Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk to each go for 100 yards.
Charles Leno Jr./Tyler Larsen: Whoever the quarterback this week, Sam Howell or Jacoby Brissett, will likely be under tremendous pressure without their starting left tackle and center. Backups Cornelius Lucas and Nick Gates should each allow multiple sacks this week.
Percy Butler: A wrist injury will keep Washington’s starting free safety out as well. He’s played decently well over the last few weeks. Likely better than backup Terrell Burgess this week. Expect the Niners to connect on multiple deep balls since they’re facing a depleted secondary.
Jacoby Brissett: A hamstring injury may force Washington to start Sam Howell this week. Both quarterbacks give about an equal chance for their team to win, so it won’t make much of a difference.
