The Green Bay Packers have to be happy about what they have seen out of Jordan Love so far. While the team sits at 1-1 thanks to a total team failure on Sunday, Love has played well overall. He has thrown for 396 yards, 6 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Not a bad way to start the season. With his latest stat line, he joins some elite company.

Per the Packers’ dope sheet, Love is just the fourth quarterback ever to throw for at least three touchdowns with no interceptions in two of his first three career starts. The other three? Patrick Mahomes, Kurt Warner, and Case Keenum. Any time that you are mentioned in the same breath at Mahomes, you know you have something special. Love currently leads the NFL in touchdown passes and quarterback rating (118.8). It is a great start to the career of Love.

    Can He Continue The Success?

There have been some tough moments. The end of the game against the Falcons was not the finest moment for the offense. A couple of three-and-outs followed by four straight incompletions to end the game left many questioning how good this offense can be. Ultimately, there are going to be growing pains and week 2 was simply that. Looking around the league, the Packers are in a much better quarterback position than so many teams. While others are questioning whether they have a starting quarterback, the Packers can look to fill out the roster around Love.

Jordan Love looks like another Green Bay Packers quarterback who is going to be around for a long time. Week 3 is the home opener and I expect Love to get a very warm welcome from the fans.
