The Cleveland Browns traded for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy last week, and one of his most prominent critics is targeting the Cleveland media.
NFL Star Says Don’t Call Me About Jerry Jeudy
Former NFL wide receiver Steve Smtih Sr., who played 16 seasons in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, went to X on Thursday to tell Cleveland media members to stop contacting him.

Smith stated,’ All you Cleveland media need to stop DMing me, hitting my representatives, and asking me to come on your radio shows to talk about Jerry Jeudy.”
Smith And Jeudy Have Beef
Last season, Steve Smith called Jeudy a JAG, which means he is just a guy and nothing special. Smith was working for the NFL Network on Thursday Night Football when the Denver Broncos faced the Kansas City Chiefs, and Smith tried apologizing to Jeudy, but Jeudy wanted no part of it and said I don’t mess with you.
Of course, Smith and Jeudy have some beef, and the Cleveland media wants to capitalize on it by having Smith on their shows.
Smith wants no part of talking about Jeudy, and he also told the Cleveland media to stop using him to be clickbait, have people listen to your shows, and why don’t you start doing your jobs?
Jeudy Has To Put On A Show In 2024
The 16-year veteran wide receiver seems very mad at the Cleveland media for trying to capitalize on his and Jeudy’s beef. Smith seems like a guy who is over the beef and has repeatedly apologized to Jeudy.
Jeudy is going into a tremendous season. He is going into the last year of his contract, and he has to do it in a new location, so if he doesn’t ball out, he isn’t going to see a payday next offseason, and he will probably be playing on a short, and not expensive contract somewhere else.
