Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has turned the team into a perennial contender. After back-to-back years of playoff heartbreak, the team is gearing up for another run. However, some analysts have suggested that the Super Bowl window for the team has already closed. Allen clapped back at the critics in a recent interview.
Buffalo Bills Josh Allen On Super Bowl Window
Allen is confident that the team still has plenty of talent to compete for a title.
“One thing I do know is it’s hard to win in this league, it’s hard to win consistently in this league,” Allen said, per NFL.com. “But the type of men that we have in this facility, in this locker room, it’s a special group. So I don’t really hear all that outside noise. I know the type of guys that we have, the energy and the juice that we can bring and how special this team can be.”
Allen is blocking out the outside noise and focusing on what he knows. The players in the locker room are a special bunch and have the talent to win a Super Bowl.
Can Buffalo Get Past Top Teams?
The issue for Buffalo has not been the regular season. The postseason has been where the team struggles. Last season especially saw the team barely beat a depleted Dolphins team before losing badly to the Bengals. If the team is going to win a Super Bowl, they have to figure out a way to not lay an egg in the playoffs. The team has lost some key pieces but still has Stefon Diggs on offense plus a lot of studs on defense. Their division is tough but they definitely have to talent to compete.
The Buffalo Bills and their success ultimately come down to how Josh Allen plays. If he can be a dominant quarterback, the team should rack up a lot of wins in 2023.
