The Baltimore Ravens have already been decimated by injuries. There was a lot of concern when wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. left the game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury. On Monday, the Ravens got promising news on the ankle.

Baltimore Ravens Odell Beckham Jr. Injury Update

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that it is a “relatively minor” ankle injury. It seems that Beckham Jr. will manage the injury and assuming all goes well, shouldn’t miss any time. This is great news if you are a Ravens fan. Lamar Jackson looked great yesterday but we’ve seen what can happen to this offense when the wide receivers are subpar. If the Ravens are going to recover from all of these injuries, they need something to break their way.

Can The Ravens Compete In The AFC?

It’s been shaky through two weeks but the team sits at 2-0. Regardless of how they have looked, they are in a better position than the Bengals and Chargers in the AFC. John Harbaugh is showing why he is one of the best coaches in the league. A player like Lamar Jackson can also cover up a lot of deficiencies on offense. His playmaking ability can make something out of nothing very easily. The AFC looks very murky after two weeks with many teams that were supposed to be dominant looking rather mediocre. The Ravens could sneak in and make some noise.

The Baltimore Ravens and breathe now that Odell Beckham Jr. avoided long-term injury. They now can look towards week 3 and extend their lead in the AFC North.
