New York Jets Star Lashes Out On Social Media After Horrible Loss To The Dallas Cowboys

The New York Jets are realizing, fairly quickly might I add, that life without Aaron Rodgers won’t be as easy as it was in Week One.  The Jets were bullied by the Dallas Cowboys in Week Two from the very first snap.  Whether it is Rodgers or Wilson under center, a strength of the Jets team is the running game.

A running back duo of Dalvin Cook and Breece Hall is certainly one of the better ones in the league.  However, Hall was clearly underutilized against the Cowboys.  After accounting for 147 total yards of offense in Week One, Hall had four carries for 9 yards in Week Two.  After the game he took to social media to reflect.

Hall spoke about his lack of touches after the game:

“I mean, I only had four touches,” Hall said. “That’s why we struggled. But it is what it is. We just got down early today and kind of just abandoned the run.

I feel like with any team that type of stuff happens, that’s how it is. You feel like you’ve got to get back in the game and stuff like that. It just slips away. So that’s what it was.”

“I can do something with it whenever I touch it,” Hall said. “It’s just, they had a good D-Line today and our O-Line had its hands full and everything. I feel like we just didn’t get going today. We abandoned the run early, so that’s just what it was.”

The Jets only had 46 offensive plays against the Cowboys.  If the Jets want to put themselves in position for a playoff run, they will have to lean on the rushing attack much more than they did in Week Two.
