The New York Jets have been dealing with a myriad of injuries, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. With Zach Wilson dealing with a concussion and Aaron Rodgers not returning this season, the Jets are turning to Trevor Siemian to get the start in this matchup.
The Jets are brutal throughout the season on the offensive side of the football as they are 30th in the NFL with 15.4 points per game. Quarterback Trevor Siemian has not done well in limited action as he is 46-of-88 (52.3 completion percentage) for 393 yards with one touchdown pass and three interceptions. One of the key cogs in the offense has been running back Breece Hall as he has 173 rushing attempts for 732 yards (4.2 yards per carry) with four rushing touchdowns as well as 65 receptions for 537 yards (8.3 yards per catch) with three touchdown receptions.
The defense has been a middle-of-the-road defensive teams throughout the year as they are currently 14th in the sport with 21.0 points per game allowed. Cornerback Sauce Gardner has been playing at an All-Pro level throughout the season as he has 52 total tackles (37 solo, 15 assisted) with a forced fumble and 10 pass deflections.
Cleveland Browns
- Points Per Game: 23.0
- Points Allowed Per Game: 20.7
- 3rd Down Efficiency: 31.47%
- 4th Down Efficiency: 56.67%
- Net Passing Yards Per Game: 216.8
- Yards Per Pass Attempt: 6.2
- Passing TDs: 19

- Sacks: 44
- Interceptions: 16
The Cleveland Browns have been doing poorly offensively as they are 20th in passing yards (216.8) and 11th in rushing yards (119.1) per game. With the elite combination of Joe Flacco and Amari Cooper looking to build off last week’s dominant performance as the postseason gets close.
Quarterback Joe Flacco has been doing pretty well as he is in the conversation for the Comeback Player of the Year as he is 104-of-175 (59.4 completion percentage) for 1,307 yards with 10 passing touchdowns to seven interceptions. It also helps having a dominant player like wide receiver Amari Cooper, who’s questionable with a heel injury. He has 72 catches on 128 targets for 1,250 yards (17.4 yards per reception) with five touchdown catches.
Their defense has been playing decently well as they are currently 12th in the NFL with 20.7 points per game allowed. All-Pro linebacker Myles Garrett has been doing incredibly well as he has recorded 13.0 sacks while also having 39 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, three pass deflections, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
Game Prediction
Trevor Siemian and Joe Flacco are going to be under center and that does not scream offensive firepower. The majority of the defensive stars (Sauce Gardner, Quinnen Williams, Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward) are going to have a great chance for success. These teams are going to struggle to move the football, especially if Amari Cooper is going to miss this game.
These defenses have struggled a bit lately but expect this game to see very few touchdowns as under 34.5 points feels like the best bet we can make for this Thursday Night Football game.
Final Pick
Under 34.5

The Jets are one of the most frustrating franchises I can think of. Obviously they had issues this season with Aaron Rodgers taking fewer than five snaps and missing the rest of the season
