New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers hopes to make an impact during his rookie season with the franchise. He was the sixth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of LSU. Nabers is looking to be the first 1,000-yard receiver on the team since Odell Beckham Jr.

Last week, the New York Giants announced the “Century Red” throwback uniforms. There were a lot of mixed reactions from the fanbase. Nabers spoke about the uniforms and the Giants will be wearing them twice next season. He said about the uniforms:
“It’s gonna be hard to swag it out–that’s all I got to say about it. I don’t know. I’ma have to see when I put it on.”

Giants fans also wanted to talk about the uniforms that they would be wearing this season along with what Nabers said. This is what some fans had to say about it on Twitter:
Am I crazy for thinking these are cool? I know theyre trying to replicate the whole 1925 look but only note would be that white pants would probably work better here. Still a unique idea and I don’t hate it

The Giants have not worn red jerseys for an NFL game in quite some time. Some fans thought they should have worn red jerseys a season on Christmas Day when they were facing the Philadelphia Eagles because they were wearing green jerseys. Instead, the Giants were wearing road whites that day.
The jersey that the New York Giants will be wearing this season is a throwback to the 1933 season. This was the first-ever NFL Championship that season when the Giants faced the Chicago Bears at Wrigley Field. The Giants lost that game to the Bears.

For the socks they will be wearing and also the game pants, it was worn from 1925 to 1927. Those were the first three seasons of the history of the New York Giants. Hopefully, the Giants can create their own history with these uniforms this season. New York finished with a 6-11 record last season and hopes to have a better 2024 season and get back to the NFL playoffs.
