The New York Giants signed a player Thursday
The New York Giants have one offensive weapon for next season before the free agency period begins. Reports came out Thursday about how the franchise was looking at quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley this offseason. The team made sure to take care of another player before moving on to those bigger contracts.

According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, the Giants signed wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins before he became an exclusive rights free agent.

Hodgins was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The Bills waived him during the regular season, and the Giants claimed him. It helped that head coach Brian Daboll had a connection with the young receiver in Buffalo.
Hodgins played in eight regular season games for the Giants and had 351 yards receiving, and four touchdown catches. He caught another touchdown in the playoffs to go along with 108 yards receiving.
