Colorado Buffaloes superstar Travis Hunter is expected to be one of the top five players selected in next Thursday’s 2025 NFL Draft. Hunter could very well be selected by the Cleveland Browns or the New York Giants.

He will have a chance to shine at cornerback and wide receiver at the next level. It will be interesting to see which position he will play at more in the NFL. Hunter was the Heisman Trophy winner during the 2024 college football season over Boise State Broncos running back Ashton Jeanty.

Buffaloes star player Hunter was interviewed by CBS Sports writer Garrett Podell. Podell asked him,

“If you had to choose only one position in the NFL or never playing football again would what you choose?”

    Hunter responded,

    “It’s never playing football again.”

The star Buffaloes player also mentioned as to why he made that statement about rather not playing football again compared to only playing on one side of the ball in the NFL. Hunter said,

“Because I’ve been doing that my whole life and I love being on the football field and I feel like I can dominate on each side.”

Hunter is 6’1″ and weighs 185 lbs. During the 2024 college football season with Colorado, he caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns, along with averaging 13.1 yards per reception. Hunter also had his longest reception of 58 yards.

On the defensive side of the football with Colorado in 2024, he recorded 35 total tackles, 11 pass deflections, one forced fumble, and four interceptions. It remains to be seen how NFL teams will use him in the future when they draft him. Hunter is one of the most talented players in the 2025 NFL Draft also.
