The Minnesota Vikings are committed to crafting a high-powered offense for 2023. The team already has Justin Jefferson and his connection with Kirk Cousins makes this duo one of the best in the NFL. The team drafted Jordan Addison in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. They are bringing in another former first-round pick, N’Keal Harry, to help bolster the receiver room.

The Vikings have been hit with injuries at practice this week so they needed to add some depth to the wide receiver position. They take a chance on Harry who has struggled in his time in the league. Harry was drafted in the first round by the New England Patriots in 2019 and in three seasons only managed 57 receptions. He was traded to the Bears last year for a seventh-round pick which is basically nothing. The Vikings now have four first-round wide receivers on their roster with Jefferson, Harry, Addison, and Jalon Reagor.

Can The Vikings Defend The North?

The Vikings have had to listen to a lot of chatter this offseason about how lucky they were to win so many games last year. While there is truth to this, the Vikings also weren’t an awful team this year. They made a massive upgrade at defensive coordinator and any offense that has Justin Jefferson is going to be dangerous. I would highly doubt that they will win 13 games this year but nine or ten wins might be enough to take the NFC North this year.

The Minnesota Vikings are hoping that N’Keal Harry can live up to his draft status. If nothing else, the team will get a look at him and if he isn’t what they need, they can easily cut him. If he hits, the Vikings could have a scary good offense.
