Midway through the NFL season it is time to look at the mid season NFL all pros. Today we will b e looking at the offensive side of the ball when it comes to mid season performances worthy of being considered for all pro.
Quarterbacks
First Team NFL All Pro Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City.
Second Team NFL All Pro Josh Allen, Buffalo
Mahomes has been dominant throughout this entire season and to me has the edge of Josh Allen at the moment. Looking between the two quarterbacks their statistics are almost identical. Mahomes did lose to Allen and the Bills in week 6 but Mahomes (two touchdowns two interceptions) to me is just a tad in front of Allen.
Mahomes has thrown for 20 touchdowns to five interceptions while Allen has 19 touchdowns to six interceptions. As a pure passer I think Allen is the only competitor for Mahomes in the league at the moment and I have no issue with switching these guys around but to me Mahomes has the edge.
Allen could easily be first team, and rightfully deserves to be, but Mahomes has been more consistent as a passer from game to game. Mahomes’ worst game was against Indianapolis and had a 78.5 passer rating while Allen has had multiple games below 70, which is why I give a light edge to Mahomes for consistency.
Odds to Win NFL MVP:
Josh Allen +125
Jalen Hurts +400
Patrick Mahomes +600
Lamar Jackson +800
Joe Burrow +1400
Justin Herbert +3300
Kirk Cousins +4000
Geno Smith +4000
Derrick Henry +5000
Tua Tagovaiola +5000
Christian McCaffrey +6600@BSSportsbook

Again, I cannot stress enough that these two could go either way. They are the two of the most dominant quarterbacks in the NFL and a pleasure to watch week in and week out.
Honorable Mentions: Joe Burrow, Cincinnati; Lamar Jackson, Baltimore
Running Backs
First Team NFL All Pro Nick Chubb, Cleveland
Second Team NFL All Pro Saquon Barkley, New York
This is also a very similar situation to the quarterbacks where I have no problem with these two being flip flopped. Chubb has been an absolute monster this year for the Browns. Chubb is third in rushing attempts this year and leads Barkley in rushing yards by 62. Chubb has had five games with over 100 yards. Chubb is ranked by Pro Football Focus as the number one running back through this point in the year after finishing second last year.

Keeping it simple as well, Barkley stats wise is just as dominant. Although he has a tad less rushing yard he makes up for it in the receiving game. Barkley leads the 6-2 New York Giants in receptions and is third in receiving yards. Barkley is also in the MVP conversation as well for how he’s helped carry the Giants to the third best record in all of football.
Honorable Mentions: Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas; Derrick Henry, Tennessee
Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill, Miami; Stefon Diggs, Buffalo; Justin Jefferson, Minnesota
When looking at complete dominance Tyreek Hill has been by far the best receivers at moving the sticks this year. In his first year with the Dolphins, Hill is first in the NFL in receptions, targets, yards, and the most explosive plays (plays over 20 yards). Although he hasn’t had the point production we are used to seeing him have, it’s clear that he can dominate with anyone throwing him the ball.
.@cheetah & @D1__JW have combined for 1,688 receiving yards already this season.
That's the most by a teammate duo in the first 8 games of a season in the Super Bowl era. 👀 (h/t @NFLResearch) pic.twitter.com/rbbLsUGCyx

Stefon Diggs continues his consistent dominance this year. While being second in the NFL this year in yards he still trails Hill by two hundred. Diggs leads all of football with seven receiving touchdowns. I expect Diggs to continue his dominance and finish first team all pro.
Justin Jefferson blasted off this year with 184 yards and two scores against the Packers. Even though he has yet to score since he is a consistent contributor week in and week out. Jefferson is tied for second in 100 yard games this year with Tyreek Hill. Regardless of not scoring since week one, Jefferson is one of the most consistent and dominant receivers in the sport.
Honorable Mentions: AJ Brown, Philadelphia; Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati; Jaylen Waddle, Miami; Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles
