Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward had his Pro Day on Monday. There are some teams who have been paying close attention to him leading up to the NFL Draft.
Some of the teams are the New York Giants, the Tennessee Titans, and the Cleveland Browns. Tennessee will have the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. It will be interesting to see if they do wind up drafting Ward or if they will trade down. The Titans are doing extended homework on him leading up to the 2025 NFL Draft.
CBS Sports Analyst Thinks That Miami Hurricanes Quarterback Cam Ward Had a Great Pro Day
CBS Sports analyst Ryan Wilson talked about Ward’s Pro Day on Monday. He said,
“This was the best pro day performance I’ve seen in person, and it might not even be close.”
With his Pro Day performance being praised, there is a great chance that the Titans will draft him number one overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. It will be interesting to see how the former Hurricanes quarterback will be in meetings with that franchise.
A season ago with Miami, he completed 67.2% of his passes for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. If Ward is drafted number one overall by Tennessee, he will no doubt start over Will Levis in 2025.

There seem to be a lot of keyboard warriors that are comparing Ward to Jamarcus Russell. This is very fascinating for college football fans to make that comment. Ward and Shedeur Sanders may not be the best quarterback class ever compared to the 2024 NFL Draft, but it appears as if Ward’s Pro Day will be enough to convince the Titans to stay number one overall in the 2025 NFL Draft also.
